💙 Estonian textile design studio 💛

 New MIURIO POP-UP store

This September MIURIO design studio is launching new POP-UP store concept within its studio space in Tallinn, Estonia (Veerenni 24C, 2nd floor).

Each season we are introducing small and exciting fashion and accessory brands to our local and international clients via our showroom and online store. This is our way of supporting upcoming designers like ourselves by building network of business relations and friendships across the industry.

Our first designer, who’s works are showcased in MIURIO POP-UP store, is Marina Aittalat. Marina has over 20 years of experience working as textile designer and artist. Her major passion is working with wool yarn. She creates large scale tapestries both for public space and clients’ homes. One of her artistic tapestries can be publicly seen at Eric Ericsonhall in Stockholm. She is an active textile designer participating in pesonal and group exhibitions in Sweden (read her artist CV below).

Designer Marina Aittalat is Estonian born textile designer and artist living and working in Sweden. She is an active member of National Association of Swedish artists and a member of Swedish Centre of Arts and Crafts.

Luxurious feel in Nordic style designed for women, who love classic, comfortable silhouettes. The manufacturing process is technologically uniquely created, which makes every garment exclusive.

Beautiful colour combinations, patterns and small details all come from inspiration of Nordic landscapes. “Mamma Jelena” collection of wool coats and jackets is made using OEKO-TEX® certified merino wool.

Garments are carefully crafted using manually-operated machine knitting method. Each jacket and coat is constructed together using sewing technique. The felting process of the garment gives an extra soft feeling. “Mamma Jelena” brand uses only exclusive hand-made ceramic buttons to add beautiful and unique touch to each wearable piece.

“Mamma Jelena” coats are exclusively sold in Sweden and Japan.
