their everyday life. Be it home interior or public space or your wearable silk accessory.
We provide “colour therapy” and create positive emotions through evoking, lively and colourful designs.”

Rita Assor
creative director, designer and operational manager at MIURIO design studioViktoria Braginskaja
co-designer, stylist and social media specialist for silk accessoriesWelcome,
My name is Rita and I am the heart and soul behind MIURIO’s designs as a creative director, interior surface designer and photographer for all my studio’s products.
I grew up in a bilingual environment, graduated from a Russian school, and have always been close friends with both Estonian and Russian-speaking friends. In my banking work, I had to work in English a lot. I enjoy everything related to cross-cultural experiences and international cooperation.
My professional interest in photography and interior design began after the birth of my daughter. It was then that I decided to leave my job in finance behind and pursue my dream in the creative field.
My inspiration is driven mostly from travelling, art and collaboration with textile artisans. In designs I use various techniques, starting with my photographs and their digital processing and ending with drawings by hand live or on a computer using a tablet.
MIURIO interior surface design studio was established in 2012, based on a vision to create colourful and expressive interior products.
I work professionally both with textile & rug companies; interior architects and designers, offering custom-made designs and finished products (e.g. cushions, rugs or wallpaper).
I like to do fashion and portrait photography and make travel photo albums. You can get acquainted with my work by clicking on the link www.ritaassor.com and https://www.behance.net/godgeous.
In 2016, I completed a master’s degree in textile design at the Estonian Academy of Arts and have a diploma in interior design, as well as a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Economics and 9 years experience working in banking industry. I am a member of the Estonian Association of designers.
Hi, my name is Viktoria and since 2018 I am a member of the MIURIO accessories family!
Acquaintance with MIURIO design studio began with an interest in the creative work of Rita. Later, Rita invited me as a model for the editorial shoot of the silk scarf #SECONDSKIN.
I remember how that shooting woke me up and brought me back to the world of art. Soon, we made another joint photo shoot, but this time, I acted as a stylist. Common projects and the desire to bring more color and beauty to this world united us with Rita.
After three years of working together, we joined the membership of Tallinn creative incubator. We have opened a studio and cooperate with designers, organize client evenings and conduct exciting master classes. We also participated in more than one fashion show with our silk scarves.
MIURIO accessories is about love, passion and pleasure. After all, wearing silk is a real pleasure!
As an artist, I am sharing — charming. As a designer and stylist, I offer individuality and versatility. I promise that I will help you to find a silk accessory for you, and also teach you how to use it for fun!
Let’s walk this journey together!
MIURIO – Estonian design studio and online store
MIURIO is an Estonian design studio founded in 2012 by textile designer Rita Assor and located in Tallinn. Our studio offers custom-made home textile products along with silk and wool scarves. Our mission is to bring luxury and special touch to people’s everyday lives through the use of colors and vivid patterns. It is a well-known fact that environment, in which we live and act matters and it has an impact on our overall well-being. So why not offer yourself some bright sunny energy full of the rhythms of Bossa Nova?
The product range of our e-store includes silk and wool scarves designed in Estonia, handmade rugs, eco-wallpaper, decorative pillows and wool jackets and coats of the Swedish brand Mamma Jelena. All our products have a unique design and vibrant colors. We want to add more beauty, art, colors and positivity to the world.
Our studio’s mission is to bring people art and color in the form of products used in everyday life. Often we do not realize that by enriching our lives with a design product that offers creative expression, we step out of everyday life.
By supporting Estonian design, you provide work for designers and consistency in design thinking and innovative design solutions in our country and society. On the other side, we support the enrichment of cultures through the cooperation with international textile companies and artisans.
Quoting Friedensreich Hundertwasser, a well-known Austrian painter, architect and environmentalist: “Our real illiteracy is not an inability to read and write and an inability to repeat other people’s knowledge, but an inability to create.”
In the interior as well as in the clothing, the details give an accent and create a complete atmosphere. We sincerely believe that home could and should be a refuge from the fast and stressful daily life. A place where you can take time off, enjoy the moment and relax and get inspired. This is exactly what we want to offer through our products.
Unique accessories and interior design products designed in Estonia
Estonian design studio MIURIO values high quality, uniqueness and ethics in its products. By combining these three values, high customer satisfaction is guaranteed. When purchasing products from our studio or e-shop, you can be sure that you will receive valuable and heart-made goods.
We value our customers highly and want to offer only the best. Therefore, our products are safe for health and largely environmentally friendly in terms of their ingredients and method of preparation.
Our eco-wallpapers do not contain toxic PVC, plasticides or fiberglass. Fleece wallpaper is produced under the FSC® brand, i.e. the raw material comes from a certified wood supply chain that meets the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council.
Silk scarves and shawls are printed with OEKO-TEX® certified acid dyes that are safe for health. When using silk accessories, we use only high-quality hand-rolled hemming.
MIURIO handmade rugs are produced using traditional rug weaving techniques in Bhadohi, India, a mecca for the hand-made rug weaving industry in South Asia. Rug production processes are mainly linked to rural communities, and in this way we have the opportunity to support their social and economic development. Labor-intensive craftsmanship and the use of natural materials are the two core values of MIURIO rugs. In addition, we have recently started offering recycled PET yarn rugs.
The creators of MIURIO products are Rita Assor as the head designer and Viktoria Braginskaya as the stylist and designer for some silk and wool scarves. We are a strong creative tandem, adding a unique contribution to MIURIO’s brand colorful identity.
