ARRAK “HUMANS” (1966) rug is the textile version in brown-green colors of a famous Estonian painter Jüri Arrak’s artwork.

Original painting: oil on canvas, 76x61cm, private collection.

“My human figure has become a sign system since the 1970s, it is recognizable by its biological flowing form, it is my understanding of the world and the organization of human society. My works deal with people and the fuss between them. I paint with my whole being and heart, not for fashion,” said the painter.

This is a Tibetan hand-knotted rug. Knotted using the finest New Zealand Merino Wool and Viscose.

Handmade in India. Production time 8-10 weeks after final order confirmation.
